Key Players SL vs NZ Dream11 Team Prediction:
Tim Seifert will bat one down for NZ. He had played only 10 T20 Matches till now and his average is not up to the mark in these matches. However, his strike rate is above 150+. Not a very consistent Batsman. Punt pick in SL. Got out at 5 runs in practice match. scored 15 runs in the first match with not so good Strike rate.
Kusal Perera will bat one Down for SL. He is the most consistent batsman from the SL side except the Last Test series in which he had failed to perform. Good T20 record with an impressive average. Must pick in SL. However, got out at only 11 runs in the first match but expected to make a comeback today.
Niroshan Dickwella will open the Innings for SL. He is an attacking batsman whose failure chances are always as high as he takes risks while playing. Punt pick in SL. Must try him CVC IN GL. Played a good knock of 33 runs in the first match.
Martin Guptill will open for NZ. He is the most destructive batsman in this format and a must pick. Plays very attacking cricket. Coming back from a good T20 blast. CVC choice. Didn’t continued his good form in the first match and got out at only 11 runs.
Colin Munro is also coming back from T20 blast. Didn’t have a good season for him though with both bat and bowl but he is a good t20 player. Opens the Innings with Guptill. Scored 48 runs in practice match. CVC choice. Got a duck in the last match. He is seen to be in trouble always against Malinga.
Ross Taylor is the most reliable and consistent batsman at current in the NZ squad. He is an experienced player. Can play big knock today if any one of Guptill or Munro flop. Will bat 3 down. He was retd hurt at 41 runs in the practice match. Must pick and CVC option. Played a good knock of 41 runs in the last match.
Avishka Fernando will open the Innings for SL. He had played very well and attacking knocks in the World cup. A young and talented batsman. Good pick from SL side in this type of format. Punt C VC in SL. However got out at 10 runs in the first match but expected to play good cricket today,
Kushal Mendis can be a punt pick today from SL side as he will bat 2 down and their opening pair is expected to get flop against NZ bowling attack. He is a good batsman. Although didn’t perform well in test series but played an attacking knock of 79 runs in the last match. Must pick. CVC choice.
Shehan Jayasuriya will bat in the middle order. He can play attacking cricket. Can give decent points today as he will bowl also. Scored 25 runs and took 1 wicket in practice match. Good pick in SL. Comes only in 8.5 Credit. Didn’t got to bt in the last match and bowled only one over.
Isuru Udana will bat down the order and we had seen him batting very well in last T20 series against SA. Bowls very well. Consistent wicket-taker. Must pick. Scored 15 runs in the last match but gone wicketless by giving too many runs. Expected to perform better today.
De Grandhomme will bat 4 down for NZ and he had performed consistently with both bat and bowl in recent times. Plays very attacking cricket. This match will be based on the all-round performance of the players from both the teams. Good pick in SL. CVC choice in 10 Members League. Scored 44 runs in the last match and bowled 3 overs. However, didn’t get any wicket.
Dasun Shanaka will get to bat and bowl both. He can give you decent points with his all-round performance. Scored 25 runs in practice match but gone wicketless. Selected by fewer users. Punt pick in 3/4 Members league. Scored 17 runs in the last match but did not bowl any over.
Mitchell Santner will bat down the order and perform the task of late hitting. He had played very well during the World cup with both bat and bowl. Pick him in SL if NZ bat’s first. 13 runs and 1 wicket in practice match. He was not out at 14 runs in the last match and took 1 wicket.
Daryll Mitchell will bat in the middle order. played a good knock of 25 runs at a crucial stage in the first match. Didn’t bowled any over but can be a good pick if bowl some overs also.
Wanidu Hasaranga got to play in the first match and he had performed really well. Got two important wickets. comes in 8.0 credit only. Can be a good pick today in SL.
Lasith Malinga doesn’t need any intro in international cricket. His yorkers are tough to handle even now and in this type of format, he had performed very well. Must pick. Can try him as VC in SL if SL bowls first. Took 2 wickets in the first match. He had bowled very well in that match except the last over that didn’t go very well.
Akila Dananjaya had performed very well in recent times. Took enough wickets in the last test series. Can be a good pick today if the weather remains good. Took 1 wicket in the last match but he has to look over his economy.
Kasun Rajitha got a chance to play in the last match but failed very badly. Expected to be replaced today by L Sandakan. Gave 44 runs in 4 overs without any wicket.
Tim Southee is the most experienced player on the NZ side. His Pace is tough to handle. He can be a crucial pick today due to the overcast conditions. He had a good test series earlier. Good pick. He bowled well in the first match and took 2 wickets. Must pick in SL.
Lockie Ferguson is in great form right now. He is a must pick today due to his hitting and wicket-taking ability. Overcast conditions will help him more. Didn’t played the last match but expected to replace Seth Rance today,
Ish Sodhi is coming back from Canada League where he had performed brilliantly. Took 3 wicket in practice match. Must pick in SL if NZ bowls first. He had bowled 3 overs in the last match but didn’t get any wicket. This pitch doesn’t have much for Spinners.
Scott Kuggelejin comes only in 8.0 credit. Selected by very fewer users. Took 4fer in the practice match. Can be a punt pick in SL today. He was very expensive in the first match as he gave 17 runs in only 2 overs.
Captain and Vc Choices:
Kushal Mendis and C De Grandhomme can be seen as default C VC in today’s fantasy teams of SL.
Ross Taylor can also be tried as CVC in SL due to his consistency.
Colin Munro is the best pick of C VC in 3/4 and 10 Members league as he can perform with both bat and bowl. He is not in a good form but expected to play good cricket today if he anyhow manages to play Lasith Malinga.
Try Avishka Fernando and Martin Guptill as CVC in Mini GL and GL as they are capable of giving many points which can win you
